WAYU Straps

Wayu carrying straps are part of the exotic MASHERA world.

I want to show the legacy work of my ancestors in Colombia, the Wayu indigenous people are the ones who weave each strap by hand using their ancestral technique, each strap is unique since each weaver leaves her mark on it.

They are beautiful pieces of art, showing how indigenous crafts can transcend their cultural roots and become an appreciated part of fashion.
